Volunteering
with the RSPCA is a great way to meet like minded people who share the same enthusiasm for animal welfare. In addition there are lots of other benefits, such as;
- gaining new skills or developing existing ones
- the chance to try out something new
- doing something useful and rewarding
- gaining a sense of achievement
- putting something back into the community
- developing your personal skills and confidence
We are always keen to meet new volunteers so we can continue the work we do, raise awareness and help more animals in need. There are a number of areas that we currently need active volunteers to help out.
- Could you be a fosterer and help care for our cats, dogs or rabbits?
- We desperately need help with fundraising, could you spare an hour or two to help us?
- We have a number of events coming up in the next few months, could you help with planning and organising?
